Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to support our aircraft landing gear MRO operations. In this role, you will prepare, mask, mix, and apply protective and decorative aerospace coatings in line with OEM specifications, aerospace standards, and internal procedures.

  • Manage your workload to meet production targets while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain spray equipment.
  • Monitor booth and oven parameters.
  • Complete accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized workplace.
  • Support the training and mentoring of colleagues when required.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • Engineering or similar apprenticeship preferred
  • Educated to at least GCSE level
  • Proven experience as a paint sprayer in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation, coating systems, and quality control
  • Familiarity with aerospace paint systems such as chromate primer and polyurethane topcoat
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and coating specifications
  • High attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and coordination
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety and hazardous materials handling
  • Well-organized, punctual, quality-focused, and flexible team player

This is a 37.5-hour shift-based role.
