Job Title
Pro Stars Ltd T/A Prostars Construction is seeking an experienced painter.
Duties
- Reading blueprints and understanding the requirements and specifications to determine the quantity of materials and type of paint needed.
- Preparing surfaces for painting, which includes removing old paint, priming surfaces, filling holes, and washing walls.
- Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Setting up scaffolding and using ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning brushes, rollers, and other equipment.
- Adhering to all health and safety standards and ensuring all projects comply with regulatory and environmental regulations.
- Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects.
- Covering exposed objects and surfaces.
- Using fillers such as putty and plaster to repair cracks.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in painting residential or commercial spaces.
- Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Solid communication skills.
- Good balance and physical strength.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail to achieve clean lines and an even finish.
- Good color vision to accurately mix shades and match colors.
- Time management skills to complete projects within designated timelines.
- Customer service skills for dealing with clients and understanding their vision.
- Knowledge of different paint types, tools, and techniques.
- With a clean police record.
