Opportunity for Painting and Decorating Technician

An opportunity has arisen to provide a comprehensive Painting and Decorating and building fabric maintenance service to all wards and departments in a multi-disciplined environment, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have a Painting and decorating background and will be able to carry out building fabrication preparation work and repairs on a range of estates structural and fabric components/elements with minimum supervision throughout the Trust.

  • Work on the full range of estates building finishes to resolve trade specific issues many of which have a direct impact on patient safety and the built environment.
  • Be able to work on a range of Painting and Decorating components in the Trust’s building portfolio, repairs and installation on a wide range of structural elements and equipment including internal walls, floors, ceilings, windows and doors, external areas and roofs.
  • Assist with providing a comprehensive building service to all wards, back of house departments and corporate services working in a multi-disciplined environment, ensuring compliance with national statutory standards as well as Trust safety standards and procedures.
