Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Painter role based in the West Midlands. The Painter will prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming, ensuring work areas are safe, protected, and compliant with company procedures. Daily tasks include applying paints and coatings to internal and external surfaces, carrying out detailed painting and decorating work, and using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as appropriate. The role involves working on residential and commercial properties, following job specifications, meeting quality standards, and completing documentation as required. The Painter will collaborate with site supervisors and colleagues, maintain tools and equipment, and adhere to health and safety and environmental regulations at all times.

- Candidates should possess skills in applying paint and working with different paint types and finishes.
- Candidates should possess skills in painting and decorating, including surface preparation and detailed finish work.
- Candidates should possess skills in coatings, including knowledge of protective and specialist coating systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in spray painting, including safe operation of spray equipment and achieving consistent coverage.
- Experience in property or construction environments, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Understanding of health and safety practices, including safe use of ladders, scaffolds, and PPE.
- Ability to read and follow job specifications and work schedules, and to meet deadlines reliably.
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship in painting and decorating are beneficial.
- Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites within the West Midlands is an advantage.
