Job Title: Painter and Decorator

Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Weekly Contractual Hours: 38

Location: Mitie, Units 13 & 14 (5 & 6 The Roundal), Roddinglaw Business Park, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH12 9DB


We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls, and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.

  • Erecting access equipment as required, with appropriate training and all necessary access plant and temporary screening as and when required to protect the environment and people.
  • Monitoring decorating material stock and requesting new stock as required.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out within the approved budget and all painting and decorating equipment is best utilised and kept clean and reused.

Ideal Candidate

  • Recognised qualification or a minimum of 5 years checkable experience in Painting.
  • Preferable has served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and has good communication and customer service skills.
  • A full driving licence is preferred (but not essential).
