£17 per hour (40 hours per week) plus overtime

Hours

Monday to Friday Days 8am - 4:30pm plus travel - early finish Fridays

About the Role

NEO Property Solutions are seeking a full time painter to support our operations across the East Midlands. Ideally situated close to the motorway and comfortable with travelling to multiple sites in the day. You will follow round our joiners and paint doors and windows on customer premises.

This is an ideal role for an experienced Painter & Decorator that might be looking for a change, a role that offers stability, security and peace of mind that you're in full time permanent employment.

The Role

Preparing surfaces and applying paint finishes to newly installed and / or upgraded fire door sets and windows.

Your works will be performed in occupied buildings including hospitals, schools, colleges, social housing, blocks of flats, office blocks and retail units.

You will need to be punctual, polite and good with customers. In addition, you will be required to follow established company policies and procedures, ensuring safety standards are satisfied and that quality control standards are maintained.

Training on the company procedures, health & safety and customer care will be provided but existing knowledge and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a painter / decorator is essential.

Required skills / experience

  • Previous painting and decorating experience (min 2 yrs)
  • NVQ / City & Guilds (painting & decorating) or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Great customer service / communication skills
  • Reliable
