Painter Role at Bromford Flagship Livewest

We're recruiting a Painter here at Bromford Flagship Livewest, to help transform our properties into safe, welcoming homes for our customers. From refreshing tired spaces to tackling repairs, your work will make a real difference every day.
You’ll be out and about, working across properties, delivering a high-quality service and ensuring every finish meets our standards—first time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out a wide range of painting and decorating repairs and maintenance
- Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and finishing
- Completing glossing and full property decoration
- Cleaning and treating damp and mould
- Supporting with void clearances and flood repairs
- Working alongside other trades when needed
- Identifying issues such as asbestos and arranging appropriate action
- Using schedules of rates to estimate jobs and manage workloads efficiently
- Delivering excellent customer service to residents

What You'll Bring
- A Full Trade Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 2 in painting & decorating (or equivalent experience)
- Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to assess work requirements and plan tasks effectively
- Great customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using digital tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, scheduling systems)
- A full UK driving licence
- Willingness to join an out-of-hours on-call rota
