Responsibilities:

Here's what your journey with us entails:

  • Painting & decorating is the main focus of the role however, you will support the Engineering team, as required, with the following:
    • Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
    • Inspecting tools, equipment, and machines visually to ensure proper functioning.
    • Carrying and operating equipment such as tools and radios.
    • Carrying out daily checks on electrical and mechanical equipment
    • Carrying out daily checks in relation to fire and Health & Safety
    • Replacing and repairing fixtures and fittings
    • Monitoring hazards in all areas that you work and ensure maximum safety at all times
    • Ensuring records in relation to Health & Safety are up to date and available for audit
    • Ensuring all work practices adhere to company and statutory legislation with due diligence at all times
    • Ensuring all work is carried out to a consistently high standard
    • Following safety and security policies and report any maintenance problems or hazards.
    • Developing positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
    • Completing safety training and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry or painting & decorating) - ideally within a hospitality environment
  • Supervisory Experience: None required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
