PAM Analyst

Client Deployment Role Description

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced PAM Analyst to support the continued development and operationalisation of a major PAM programme within a regulated Financial Services environment. This is not a pure engineering position. The role requires someone who combines strong knowledge of Privileged Access Management with business analysis, programme coordination, and stakeholder engagement experience. The successful candidate will act as the link between PAM engineers, technology teams, platform owners, end users, and senior stakeholders. They will help coordinate onboarding activity, improve existing processes, drive user adoption, and ensure the PAM capability is embedded effectively across the organisation. Applicants must have experience working with at least one major enterprise PAM platform, such as CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate PAM onboarding across multiple technology teams, business areas, and user groups.
  • Manage delivery plans, actions, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Work with PAM engineers and platform teams to ensure onboarding activities progress to plan.
  • Identify delivery blockers and coordinate their resolution across relevant teams.
  • Support the development of a structured PAM roadmap covering immediate, short-term, and longer-term priorities.
  • Produce clear updates on programme progress, onboarding status, adoption levels, and outstanding issues.
  • Support governance forums through the preparation of reporting packs, metrics, and decision papers.
  • Engage with platform owners, infrastructure teams, and technology leads to understand privileged access requirements.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business, operational, and technical requirements.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into clear onboarding activities for PAM engineering teams.
  • Assess existing PAM processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses.
  • Design and document improved onboarding processes, operating procedures, and support models.
  • Facilitate workshops to define requirements, resolve issues, and agree delivery approaches.
  • Maintain clear traceability between requirements, technical delivery, and business outcomes.
  • Explain PAM capabilities, requirements, and security controls to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with technology leads, end-user teams, security functions, and senior stakeholders.
  • Support teams through the PAM onboarding journey, ensuring responsibilities and expectations are understood.
  • Develop communications, onboarding packs, process guides, and user documentation.
  • Identify barriers to PAM adoption and develop targeted plans to address them.
  • Drive greater use of the PAM platform across existing and newly onboarded teams.
  • Provide structured guidance and support to improve user readiness and engagement.
  • Review existing PAM methodologies and recommend practical improvements.
  • Identify root causes behind onboarding delays, low adoption, or continued use of legacy access methods.
  • Develop proposals and frameworks to improve programme delivery and operational sustainability.
  • Assess the advantages, risks, and implications of current and proposed approaches.
  • Support senior stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations and options.
  • Contribute to the development of future-state PAM processes and operating models.
  • Balance immediate delivery priorities with the longer-term maturity of the PAM capability.
  • Support alignment with internal security policies, regulatory expectations, and recognised cybersecurity standards.
  • Ensure PAM controls and onboarding activities are appropriately documented and evidenced.
  • Contribute to the definition and monitoring of PAM KPIs, KRIs, and control measures.
  • Support access reviews, privileged account recertification, and exception management activities.
  • Assist with orphan account identification and remediation.
  • Support internal and external audit preparation by maintaining clear processes, evidence, and documentation.
  • Ensure risks and control gaps are identified, tracked, and escalated appropriately.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
