Job Purpose
As a PAM Technical Specialist at Cadent, you'll play a vital role in supporting and developing our Privileged Access Management (PAM) capability across cloud, on-premise and hybrid technology environments. Working across both Infrastructure and Operational Technology (OT) environments, you'll help ensure privileged access is secure, controlled and compliant with regulatory and security requirements.
This is a highly technical specialist role where you'll provide hands-on expertise across Cadent’s CyberArk estate and evolve the function. You’ll support privileged credential management, session brokering, password rotation, access workflows, onboarding and audit controls. You’ll work with multiple teams to strengthen security controls while enabling operational teams to work effectively.
From reducing standing privilege and improving visibility of privileged activity through to supporting disaster recovery, platform roadmaps and design assurance, you'll play a key role in helping Cadent deliver a secure, resilient and auditable privileged access service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
