Job Title

Senior Real Estate Asset Manager

Client Details

Our client is a reputable sector-agnostic global Real Estate Investment Manager with approximately $7bn AUM. Approaching 20 years of track record, acquiring predominantly CRE assets (average ticket size €170m), they are growing their team in London with a newly created bilingual Senior AM role reporting to and supporting the Head of Europe.

Description

Ownership, strategic & pro-active asset management across a mixed portfolio of commercial assets in the UK & Europe (with potential for other international jurisdictions to be added in due course).

Implementation of asset management initiatives including lettings, rent reviews, lease re-gears, refurbishments, hold / sell analysis.

On-boarding of any new assets acquired ensuring a smooth handover following conclusion of transactions.

Day to day direction of appointed 3rd parties / consultants including property managers, agents, surveyors, lawyers and valuers.

Preparation and implementation of annual business plans to optimise performance in accordance with client / fund strategy.

Financial cash flow modelling across AM strategies, performance reporting and evaluation of proposed initiatives.

Implementation of ESG strategies in accordance with company objectives.

Regular external and internal reporting.

Tenant, client and investor liaison: in person meetings and conference calls.

Preparation and delivery of board recommendations.

Profile

The successful Pan Euro Real Estate Senior Asset Manager should have / be:

  • Experience of 6-10 years in commercial real estate Asset Management, ideally including 3-4 years+ in a client-side role / Investment Manager.
  • Good quality academics, Real Estate (or related Built Environment) BSc / MSc degree.
  • Ideally MRICS, however those qualified by relevant Pan-Euro experience and fluency in languages (see below) are the most desirable combination.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, demonstrable track-record taking care of high-profile / blue-chip Tenants.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Self-motivated, organised, determined and diligent - excellent time-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present both verbally and especially in written reports.
  • Good quality Excel skills, demonstrable record of managing multiple big-ticket assets and ability to appraise asset management initiatives.
  • Ability to travel to meet with key stakeholders and Tenants in the UK and across Europe.
