Role Description
This full-time, on-site Panel Beater role is based in Sheffield. The Panel Beater will repair and replace damaged vehicle body panels, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and safety requirements. Daily tasks include diagnosing bodywork damage, carrying out structural and cosmetic repairs, using appropriate tools and equipment, and aligning panels and frames. The role involves collaborating with paint technicians and service advisors, maintaining accurate repair records, and following workshop health and safety procedures. The Panel Beater will also contribute to a positive team environment and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship that supports excellent customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong vehicle maintenance and maintenance & repair skills, with experience working on a range of vehicle types.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting bodywork and structural issues, including accurate damage assessment and repair planning.
- Experience working with heavy equipment and workshop tools used in panel beating and body repair.
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Repair or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Vehicle Body Repair Technician in an automotive workshop environment.
- Ability to interpret repair instructions, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
- Good supervisory skills or the ability to mentor less experienced team members is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety standards, and focus on delivering high-quality repairs.
