Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom for a Panel Beater & Paint Sprayer. The role involves assessing vehicle body damage, removing and replacing damaged panels, straightening and aligning frames, and preparing surfaces for painting through sanding, filling, and priming. The Panel Beater & Paint Sprayer will mix and apply paint, including base coats and clear coats, and carry out polishing and finishing to achieve a high-quality result.

- Using appropriate tools and equipment safely, following manufacturer specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in panel beating, body repair, dent removal, and structural alignment on a range of vehicles.
- Proficiency in paint spraying techniques, including mixing paint, color matching, priming, masking, and application of base and clear coats.
- Strong skills in surface preparation such as sanding, filling, rust treatment, and finishing to ensure high-quality paintwork.
- Ability to safely operate workshop tools and equipment (e.g., hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, spray guns, sanding machines) in line with health and safety standards.
- Good understanding of automotive bodywork materials, repair methods, and manufacturer guidelines, with the ability to interpret job cards and technical instructions.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality work within agreed timeframes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with other technicians and service staff.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in automotive body repair or refinishing is preferred; prior experience in a body shop environment is highly beneficial.
