Capstone Foster Care is a well-established fostering organisation with offices across the UK. We are passionate about making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, supporting carers to do an important job really well. Always striving for excellence in everything we do.
Panel Members make up a panel who make recommendations on potential foster carers. Meeting either face to face or virtually, the position requires preparation time, reading paperwork, attendance at Panel (half or a full day) and attendance at training, once or twice a year. You can be allocated panel dates depending on your availability so you do not have to commit to every month. Face to face panels are held at our Stoke Prior office so applicants ideally need to live within a commutable distance.

We are looking to maintain the diversity within our existing team of Panel Members and would like to include individuals with previous panel experience who have current or previous employment within the healthcare industry relating to children in care/safeguarding etc.
You will be paid the below rates including preparation plus mileage of 55 pence per mile.
- Full Day Panel: £250
- Half Day Panel: £125

You will be on a self employed contract, however there are opportunities to access training opportunities through Capstone Foster Care.

The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS application or be on the update service.
