What You'll Be Doing
As a Panel Technician, you'll play a key role in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition, delivering high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer standards and exceed customer expectations.

- Carrying out vehicle body repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair methods, BS10125 standards and company procedures.
- Repairing and replacing damaged panels using approved techniques, tools and equipment.
- Completing repairs safely, efficiently and to agreed quality and productivity standards.
- Performing accurate welding and structural repairs whilst adhering to manufacturer and industry requirements.
- Assessing damage and identifying any additional repair requirements, communicating these promptly to the relevant teams.
- Working closely with Vehicle Damage Assessors, Production Managers and colleagues across the repair process to ensure repairs are completed right first time.
- Protecting customer vehicles throughout the repair process and maintaining the highest standards of care and attention to detail.
- Ensuring all parts and components are stored, managed and handled correctly to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
- Taking pride in delivering exceptional workmanship that contributes to outstanding customer satisfaction.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience working as a Panel Technician within a busy accident repair or Bodyshop environment.
- An IMI, ATA or equivalent industry-recognised qualification (desirable).
- A strong commitment to quality, safety and achieving right-first-time repairs.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive, team-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- A customer-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding repair experience.
- A full UK driving licence (desirable).
