Role: Panel Wireman
Salary: £30,000
Location: Belvedere DA17 6AH
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Reports to: Controls Lead
Term: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Panel Wireman with 5 years experience. Day to Day tasks is to build, wire and test bespoke control panels. Will need to work to time sensitive projects and requests from higher management team, whilst teaching and mentoring Apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lay-out and wire Control systems to wiring diagrams/Drawings
  • Metal work (Cutting & Drilling)
  • Experience Required
    • Reading Circuit Diagrams/Drawings
    • Wiring Control Systems Panels following wiring diagrams/drawings (Excludes Soldering not required)
    • Basic Electric Knowledge, 3phase.
    • Completing test documentation.
    • Circuit testing & fault finding
    • Live testing control panels (Not Essential)
    • Knowledge of Generators/PLC (Not Essential)
    • Use of power tools, mainly drill and jigsaws
    • Counting and Managing stock (Stock Take monthly & Yearly)
    • Working Individually and within a team including Apprentices
    • Self-driven and willingness to learn
    • Own hand Tools
