Job Title: Panel Wireperson

Salary: £15-£20 per hour DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (overtime available)
Pattern: 4.5-day working week
Flexible start/finish times on full days
Early finish at 12:00 on Fridays

Contract

A leading and expanding electrical manufacturing business is seeking Panel Wireperson to join their growing production team. These roles offer excellent long-term career prospects, structured development pathways, and the opportunity to be part of a highly successful and growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly of copperwork, cabling and electrical components
  • Electrical panel wiring and general control panel build
  • Cabinet/box building and mounting plate assembly
  • Direct-to-panel wiring, point-to-point connections and terminations
  • Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
  • Assisting in basic testing and inspection
  • Installation and on-site assembly of equipment

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or similar
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings
  • Strong crimping, wiring and cable preparation skills
  • Minimum of Level 2 Electrical Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Competent in testing, installation and on-site assembly
