🚨 Paralegal Opportunity | Dunton, Essex | £34.71/hr Umbrella 🚨
Are you an experienced Paralegal looking for your next contract opportunity? We're recruiting for a 6-month contract based in Dunton, Essex, supporting a busy Legal Office within a major financial services and automotive environment.
📍 Location: Dunton, Essex (Post Code: SS15 6EE) 🏢 Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 4 days onsite per week, potentially 5 days depending on business needs) 💰 Rate: £34.71 per hour (Umbrella) 📅 Contract: 6 Months (Possible extensions/s) ⏰ Hours: 37.5 hours per week 📌 Reference: F56553 ⚠️ Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting consumer complaints, litigation matters, and regulatory projects
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Assisting with compliance monitoring and regulatory requirements
- Supporting Company Secretariat activities
- Coordinating Board and Committee meetings
- Preparing Board packs, agendas, and meeting documentation
- Assisting with Board and Committee minutes and governance records
- Liaising with senior stakeholders, directors, and executives across the business

Skills & Experience Required:
- Working understanding of UK consumer credit law and the regulatory framework of a UK bank
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational and administration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and professionalism handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms

Qualifications:
- UK Law Degree, or
- Degree plus PGDL, or
- Minimum 3 years' Paralegal experience within a law firm or banking environment
Desirable Experience:
- Supporting a Company Secretary or Corporate Governance function
- Preparing Board packs, meeting agendas, and minutes
- Working with Boards, Committees, Directors, and senior executives
