London | £28,860 per annum | Top 100 Firm

£28,860 per annum
I am currently looking for a paralegal to join a busy and highly regarded Real Estate team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a strong reputation in real estate, social housing and development work, supporting a team of experienced fee earners on a wide range of property transactions.
You will play an important role in the team, managing a high volume of work from exchange of contracts through to completion and Land Registry registration.
Your paralegal responsibilities will include:
- Managing workflow trackers and completion, AP1, cancellation and SDLT deadlines.
- Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and arranging payments within statutory timescales.
- Preparing AP1 applications and dealing with Land Registry requisitions.
- Submitting, reviewing and interpreting priority searches.
- Assisting fee earners with day-to-day enquiries and post-exchange matters.
- Ensuring files and processes remain compliant with LEXCEL requirements.

What will make you stand out?
- Experienced in a similar legal/property role, ideally with at least 18 months' continuous experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Registered Providers/social housing would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
- Minimum 12 months within real estate in a legal assistant/paralegal position.
