What you’ll do
We are looking to recruit two Paralegals to join our busy Plot Sales team within the Real Estate department, in our Exeter office on a full-time and permanent basis.
Ranked Band 1 in the Legal 500 for the South West (2026), our Real Estate team provides a full spectrum of legal services to a diverse client base. Working with a range of well-known regional and national housebuilders and developers.
As a Paralegal, you'll play a key role in progressing plot sale transactions from instruction through to completion. You'll be involved in preparing contracts, TP1s and leases using standard precedents, liaising with clients and third parties to obtain updates, and helping to ensure matters progress smoothly towards exchange and completion.
You'll also assist with Land Registry applications, maintain regular communication with clients, and work closely with the wider Plot Sales team to support the delivery of an efficient and high-quality service.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and take on meaningful responsibility from day one, providing a strong foundation for someone looking to develop their legal career.
Who you are
Ideally, you'll have gained some experience in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant role and be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career in law.
You are a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent client service. You'll be comfortable managing a busy workload, balancing competing priorities and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
