Your new company
A leading international transport and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its in-house legal team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is based in Central London on a hybrid basis (4 days in the office). Operating across multiple jurisdictions and serving millions of customers each year, the organisation provides essential public services.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to an established in-house legal team within a complex and fast-paced environment. Despite its fixed-term nature, the role may offer genuine long-term potential, with the possibility of extension and future permanent opportunities for the successful candidate.
Your new role
You will support the legal team on a broad range of operational and commercial legal matters, helping to ensure the efficient delivery of legal services. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and responding to legal queries through a busy legal inbox
- Handling and coordinating Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
- Reviewing, drafting and processing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Supporting the legal team with contract administration and legal operations activities
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and matter tracking systems
- Assisting with ad hoc legal projects and wider team initiatives as required
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Paralegal (ideally at least 2 years' relevant experience), ideally gained within an in-house legal team or commercial legal environment. You will demonstrate:
- Experience managing DSARs
- Experience reviewing and administering NDAs
- Previous experience managing or supporting a legal queries inbox
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and a proactive and collaborative approach
