The Role

We're looking for a proactive Paralegal to join our Legal team, providing day-to-day legal, contractual and light corporate governance support across the business. You'll be working closely with different departments inside the company (Asset Management, Operations, Finance and Construction).

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in contracts who wants to build their experience within an international legal team.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Support & Contract Management

  • Act as a first point of contact for legal requests, across multiple business teams and jurisdictions.
  • Review, draft and help progress NDAs, notices, amendments, operational agreements and standard service contracts through to execution.
  • Support the business with the negotiation, drafting and administration of a range of commercial and operational agreements — starting with template-based work and standard contracts, building up to more complex matters over time.
  • Support Asset Management, Operations, Finance and Construction teams with day-to-day contractual and legal queries.
  • Assist with document control, execution follow-up and administration of legal agreements.
  • Conduct legal research to support the wider team on applicable legal and regulatory questions.

Governance & Compliance (Support Role)

  • Provide support on Italian corporate governance and company secretarial matters, working alongside external advisers as this function is transitioned to an outsourced model in Italy, in line with our other jurisdictions.
  • Assist with the maintenance of corporate records, governance documentation and statutory filings.
  • Support compliance and Model 231-related activities in Italy.
  • Maintain legal document repositories, contract trackers, governance records and SharePoint sites.
  • Support the development and rollout of legal technology/AI platforms, including a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
  • Help prepare training materials, slides and guidance notes for our Legal Academy programme (content and delivery led by senior team members).
  • Build strong working relationships across Legal, Finance, Asset Management and Operations, providing flexible admin and legal support as needed.

Skills & Competencies

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and manage teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced financial analysis, reporting, and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with investors, advisors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Change management and process improvement experience.
  • High levels of accountability, ownership, and commercial awareness.
  • Passion for our mission to generate a more sustainable future by leading the transition to clean energy.
  • Our values: Be a Leader, Build Trust, Be Responsible, Be Innovative and Bring Your Alpha.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
