Paralegal

Tyne & Wear

A leading international professional services consultancy is seeking a Paralegal to join its in-house legal team based in Tyne & Wear.

This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate, LPC/LLM/SQE candidate, or early-career legal professional looking to develop their commercial legal experience within a supportive and highly respected business.

The Role

You will work closely with experienced legal professionals, assisting with:

  • Reviewing commercial contracts and identifying legal, insurance, and commercial risks
  • Preparing contract summaries and legal reports
  • Supporting contract negotiations with clients and external advisers
  • Assisting with collateral warranties, assignments, and contractual documentation
  • Maintaining legal databases and records
  • Supporting claims administration and debt recovery processes
  • Liaising with insurers and other stakeholders where required

About You

You will ideally have:

  • A Law degree, MLaw, or a non-law degree with GDL/CPE conversion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • An interest in commercial contracts and in-house legal work
