Paralegal leading to Training Contract

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Paralegal to join our growing team at Liberty Wall Solicitors. Working primarily within our residential property practice, you will form part of a collaborative team supporting solicitors and partners across fast-paced transactions.

This office-based role offers a great opportunity to join a growing team that is integral to the firm's ongoing strategy and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting & Documentation: Drafting basic legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence using established firm precedents.
  • Transaction Management: Managing, organising, and maintaining draft documentation and transaction records, including preparing for transaction closing.
  • Post-Completion & Administration: Handling post-completion registrations, administrative follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Searches & Due Diligence: Conducting company searches, managing property checklists, and distributing original documents at the completion of transactions.
  • Communication & Liaison: Communicating and liaising professionally with clients, counsel, court personnel, counterparties, and internal fee earners.
  • Legal Support: Conducting legal research and analysis to support solicitors and partners.
  • General Support: Assisting with case management, trial preparation, and providing general administrative support, including filing and document management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Completed LPC or SQE
  • Relevant work experience
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
