Role Purpose

You will provide legal support to the business as part of the in-house legal team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist with the review, negotiation, and administration of commercial agreements including services agreements, supplier agreements, technology agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Maintain statutory records and corporate governance documentation.
  • Assist with board and shareholder resolutions.
  • Support the Legal Team on the compilation and distribution of board papers.
  • Provide assistance with the legal team’s workload and provide support to senior lawyers, including conducting research and carrying out administrative tasks.
  • Monitoring trade-marks reports for potential infringements.
  • Assisting with Companies House filings.
  • Assisting with invoices, filing, and general administrative tasks.
  • Manage the Group Legal team’s inbox and ensure all tasks are notified to senior lawyers.

What We’re Looking For

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a law firm or legal team
  • An understanding of the financial services industry useful but not essential
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Education / Qualifications

  • Law degree preferable

Location and Contract Type

This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is expected to be office-based in London, however, we have a flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home.
