Paralegal | Wolverhampton | Up to £28,000
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-orientated paralegal to join our Legal Service team here at Marston’s. You’ll be joining a small, friendly but busy team and play a crucial part in supporting the business, by ensuring that high‑volume, time‑critical legal documentation is prepared accurately, consistently and at pace.
This is a fantastic role for someone who has experience in a legal, compliance or risk function, thrives in a busy, dynamic environment, is confident dealing with people at all levels of seniority and has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and coordination of legal documentation as part of the onboarding and off-boarding of our franchise-style pub partners, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather information, chase outstanding documentation and keep matters moving to deadline.
- Maintaining accurate records and trackers contract database, key dates and document registers
- Managing the execution process end to end: circulating documents for signature, verifying completeness and arranging safe storage of executed originals.
- Assisting with continuous improvement of templates, precedents and process notes to drive consistency and efficiency across the team.

What You’ll Bring
You will ideally bring one or more of the following:
- Experience in a paralegal, legal secretary or legal administrator role;
- Experience working in a compliance, governance, risk or regulated environment;
- Practical exposure to legal or compliance processes.

Essential Skills
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Understands why everyday excellence and consistency are critical in legal and governance work and applies sound judgement.
- Excellent engagement and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Understands confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately at all times.
