Role Description

This is an on-site Paralegal role based in Manchester. The Paralegal will assist solicitors with casework, including:

  • Gathering information
  • Conducting legal research
  • Preparing, organizing, and maintaining case files and documentation

  • Drafting and formatting legal documents
  • Reviewing and summarizing records
  • Ensuring all materials are accurate and filed on time

The role involves:

  • Communicating with clients, courts, and other parties
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Supporting solicitors with hearings and meetings

The Paralegal will:

  • Follow internal procedures
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to efficient case progression

Qualifications

  • LLB/LLM/LPC PREFERABLE
  • Farsi/Dari/Kurdish bilingual preferable
  • Experience in immigration/family/litigation/property preferable

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Solid understanding of Law and legal procedures, with experience supporting solicitors or legal teams.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal forms and correspondence.
  • Strong Research skills for case law, statutes, and regulations, and ability to present findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail in Document Review, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ensure accuracy.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Relevant legal education (e.g., paralegal qualification, law degree, or equivalent experience).
  • Competence in using standard office and case management software, and maintaining confidential information appropriately.
  • Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines.
