Paralegal – Startups, Commercial Law & Venture Capital (Full Time, Permanent)

📍 London, EC2A | 💼 Full-Time | 🚀 Immediate Start | 💷 £27,000 per annum

Join our dynamic London-based team as a full-time Paralegal supporting some of the UK’s most exciting startups. This permanent role offers an immediate start, a salary of £27,000 and the chance to gain hands-on experience across commercial, corporate, intellectual property and venture capital work.

What does the role involve?

You’ll work closely with our fee earners and clients on a wide range of legal matters. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Drafting commercial agreements and investment documentation
  • Supporting on venture capital transactions (including SEIS/EIS compliance)
  • Filing applications for UK, EU and international trademarks
  • Preparing Companies House filings and maintaining statutory registers
  • Assisting clients with data protection and GDPR compliance
  • Working on tax incentive schemes for investors in startups

You’ll also be involved in the broader life of the firm, including:

  • Conducting legal research and responding to client queries
  • Supporting clients with instructions and maintaining strong communication
  • Attending and presenting at seminars and events
  • Helping to build our brand and acting as a firm ambassador

What we’re looking for:

  • A law degree (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive, client-focused approach
  • A real interest in startups, business and commercial law

Experience in a similar role is a bonus but not essential. If you’re bright, enthusiastic and willing to learn, we want to hear from you.
