Paralegal Apprenticeship with Data Law via Knowsley Works

Employer Overview

Liver Law Solicitors is an established and growing law firm serving the Liverpool City Region and beyond. We provide a range of legal services, including conveyancing, personal injury, civil litigation, and wills and probate. Our apprentices will work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive team and gain practical experience using modern case management systems.

The Role and Training

We are looking for a Paralegal Apprentice who is keen to learn and build a career in law. You will assist fee earners with day-to-day legal work and administration, with a particular focus on residential conveyancing. You will receive supervision, guidance, and gradually increasing responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence develop.

Alongside your work, you will complete the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship with Datalaw via Knowsley Works: 13 months of training, with up to four months available for the final assessment. Training includes workshops, one-to-one sessions, and supported learning during working hours, covering client care, file management, legal ethics, research, communication, and document drafting, with conveyancing as the intended specialist module.

Career Development

Our aim is to help you develop into a Conveyancing Assistant and, following successful completion of the apprenticeship, secure a permanent full-time position with Liver Law. There may also be scope to continue learning through further qualifications such as Advanced Paralegal, Conveyancing Technician, and ultimately Licensed Conveyancer. Progression will depend on your performance, successful completion, the availability of suitable roles, and the relevant entry and funding requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
