Paralegal Opportunity in Bradford

We’re looking for a Paralegal to join us in Bradford on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

About the Role

Liberty Blume's Legal Operations Team is continuing to grow, and we are seeking a Paralegal to join us during an exciting period of expansion. The role will involve handling a diverse portfolio of Defendant claims across Employers’ Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), and Utility and Property Damage matters. Working alongside qualified solicitors and under the guidance of a Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, gain valuable litigation experience (under supervision), and play a key role in delivering excellent outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Run your own portfolio of matters using a case management system, with access to some of the latest technology to support your day-to-day work.
• Administrative Support: Set up new cases, process initial notification letters and payments.
• Process Improvement: Provide insight into process improvements, including opportunities for automation and AI.
• Client Liaison: Liaise professionally with clients, stakeholders, third parties, and external organisations to obtain information and progress claims to resolution.
• Documentation: Draft clear, accurate, and professional correspondence and other documentation in line with departmental standards and procedures.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and established processes.
