Harkaye Core Talent is delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established and growing claimant law firm to recruit a Claims Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the legal sector. Whether you're a recent law graduate or have previous customer service experience and an interest in personal injury law, this role offers structured training, ongoing support and genuine opportunities for career progression.
As the first point of contact for new clients, you'll play a key role in helping individuals begin their personal injury claim, delivering an empathetic and professional service from the very first conversation.

As a Claims Assistant, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for prospective clients making personal injury enquiries.
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls.
- Gather key information and accurately record details on the case management system.
- Assess the viability of new claims.
- Ensure claims are progressed through the correct legal process.
- Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy and professionalism.
- Support the wider legal team with administrative and case-related tasks where required.
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or telephone-based role.
- Experience within personal injury or legal services would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A Law degree, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification is desirable.
