Job Title: Paralegal - Commercial Property
Location: Skipton
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced legal professional with a strong interest in Commercial Property and looking for an opportunity to develop your career within a well established legal firm?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded legal firm as Paralegal - Commercial Property, where you will provide key legal and case management support to Fee Earners across a varied Commercial Property caseload. You will play an important role in progressing client matters from initial instruction through to completion, working closely with clients, solicitors and third parties to ensure transactions are handled efficiently and accurately.
Working within a busy and professional environment, this role would suit a proactive and highly organised individual who enjoys working on property matters, has strong attention to detail and is confident managing multiple deadlines. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience across a broad range of Commercial Property transactions while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities As a Paralegal - Commercial Property
- Assist Fee Earners with the management and progression of a varied Commercial Property caseload
- Take responsibility for progressing client matters, monitoring key actions and ensuring deadlines are met
- Prepare and maintain legal files, documentation and correspondence throughout the lifecycle of each matter
- Communicate directly with clients, solicitors, third parties and other stakeholders throughout transactions
- Order property searches and complete necessary client identification and compliance checks
- Assist with the progression of property transactions through exchange and completion
- Support post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and following up on registrations
- Maintain accurate case records, prepare client bills and assist with account ledgers and general matter administration

Experience Required as a Paralegal - Commercial Property:
- Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally within Commercial Property or Conveyancing
- Good understanding of the processes involved in progressing property transactions
- Experience assisting with property matters from instruction through to completion would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence when dealing with clients and third parties
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate legal documentation
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience using a legal case management system advantageous
- A proactive, professional and collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative
