Our Commercial Property team focuses on all aspects of non-contentious commercial property transactions, advising on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, and on the real estate aspects of portfolio management and all other landlord and tenant matters. The team has an extensive and varied client base, acting for global brands and quoted companies including Pizza Hut, Pandora, Pure Gym, Patty&Bun, Reiss and Tortilla.

This opportunity will allow you to develop your legal expertise and case management skills, and you will be given direct client exposure as part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Assisting fee earners on larger transactions.
  • Undertaking a wide variety of work for landlord and occupier clients under supervision, including:
    • Lease renewals.
    • Landlord and tenant management work (licences, consents, etc.).
    • Site acquisitions and disposals, including assisting with due diligence, preparing reports on title, and reviewing search results and leases.
    • Dealing with post-completion matters, notices and undertakings.
    • Assisting fee earners with other property transactions.
    • Liaising with other departments on the non-contentious property aspects of other transactions, particularly corporate, construction, planning and property litigation matters.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
