We have a great opportunity to join our in-house Legal Services Team in a friendly and supportive environment.
You'll be providing high-quality legal advice and assistance on litigation matters, particularly housing management and landlord and tenant disputes, to Southern Housing and its group partners. You'll support the Litigation Solicitors and other authorised lawyers in the conduct of litigation, helping to protect the organisation's interests while delivering an efficient and effective legal service.
You'll be involved in preparing legal documentation, supporting housing management cases, liaising with colleagues across the organisation and assisting with the delivery of legal training and advice on housing law matters.

This role is based at either London (Farringdon office) or Croydon with the option for hybrid working when appropriate and agreed with your manager.
What You’ll Need
- Law Degree or a CILEX Level 3 qualification in litigation or equivalent.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to a high standard.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- A proactive and positive approach, with a commitment to delivering an excellent service and building effective working relationships across the organisation.
- Experience of undertaking pre-action casework or assisting with the conduct of housing management litigation, particularly for housing associations or other public sector bodies (desirable).
- Experience of working in a legal environment, such as a solicitor's practice or legal department (desirable).
