About the Role

Our client, a very reputable firm, are looking to appoint a Employment Paralegal for their growing business based in Stockport. You will support a respondent focused caseload across both contentious & non-contentious matters. You will also gain exposure to high quality work & have the ability to build long term relationships.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in employment law
  • Experience & Knowledge of employment law
  • Experience working as a Paralegal within the legal sector
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems
  • Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High attention to detail

Responsibilities

Within This Position, You'll Also Be

  • Conducting of matters on behalf of clients accurately and reliably in line with procedures and policies (SRA Code of Conduct)
  • Supporting fee earners with matters, including preparing of case assessments, drafting documents and forms & liaising with clients & Tribunals
  • Attending Tribunal hearings to provide support & take notes
  • Carrying out legal research to assist ongoing matters
  • Preparing hearing & disclosure bundles, organising documents and assembling files under supervision
  • Working collaboratively with team members to deliver a seamless service to clients

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour's lunch
