We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Paralegal position, to work in the London office of a leading US law firm.

The role will be offered on a rolling 6 month fixed-term contract basis and will be to support the high-performing Financial Services Regulatory team.

This fantastic opportunity will see you working in a top-tier practice area, partaking in a range of activities including legal research, drafting documents, and liaising with clients. Paralegals at this firm are offered a range of high-quality work and exposure that is second to none.

Typical duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Project management tasks for both advisory and transactional matters
  • Liaising with local counsel and clients
  • Performing factual and substantive research
  • Preparing first drafts and coordinating the collection of regulatory filing materials
  • Compiling written records of developments in the Financial Services Regulatory team’s practice area
  • Assisting Partners and the wider team with the development and maintenance of knowhow materials
  • Attending practice group meetings and training sessions

As such, the firm is looking for a driven Paralegal, with a strong academic background and 18+ months of availability. Suitable applicants will also have ideally gained some prior experience in a Financial Services Regulatory role (or similar) within a law firm or in-house legal department. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
