Meet the Team
The Legal Department provides legal advice and guidance to the Firm globally regarding all aspects of the Firm’s business and operations and manages the legal aspects of all Firm initiatives and manages numerous legally-intensive projects. The Legal Department oversees the Firm’s relationships with its external legal advisors globally.

What You'll Do
This is a maternity cover role supporting the global legal team of a large global hedge fund. The candidate will gain significant exposure to the complex legal, governance and regulatory framework of asset management and will provide support for a range of work encompassing technology and other contracts around the globe. The candidate’s key focus will be to provide support on all phases of contract negotiation, execution and management, in combination with providing support on other projects within the legal team. The role involves close, ongoing interaction with various parts of the business. The nature of the work is highly dynamic, interactive, and collegial. This will be a 7 month Fixed Term Contract.
- Assist in all phases of the contract life-cycle, including initial review, negotiation and execution
- Provide support on various data protection issues in Asian jurisdictions
- Provide support on broader, inter-jurisdictional projects and assist in project management
- Review and draft NDAs
- Provide support on due diligence reviews
