Senior Paralegal | Lease Extensions | Fully Remote | Competitive Salary DOE
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Paralegal to join a specialist Lease Extensions team. This is a fully remote role offering the chance to manage your own caseload within a supportive and highly regarded property practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and experienced property case handler who enjoys managing files, progressing matters efficiently and delivering excellent client service within a specialist and supportive team.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a supervised caseload of informal lease extension matters from instruction through to completion and Land Registry registration.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing lease extension files on a day-to-day basis
- Liaising with clients, landlords, managing agents, valuers and lenders
- Reviewing leases and title documentation
- Preparing correspondence and documents using precedents
- Chasing and negotiating informal lease extension terms
- Preparing completion and post-completion documentation
- Handling Land Registry applications and requisitions
- Supporting junior team members where appropriate

This is a senior-level role suited to someone with strong practical experience in leasehold property work and the ability to manage matters efficiently with minimal supervision.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate:
- At least 3 years' experience within residential property, leasehold property or lease extension work
- Experience managing their own property caseload
- Strong Land Registry and post-completion experience
- A good understanding of leasehold titles and lease documentation
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently within a supervised environment
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
Previous leasehold enfranchisement or statutory lease extension experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates able to spend some time in the office may be preferred due to the collaborative nature of the team and ongoing training requirements. However, fully remote working is available for candidates with proven experience of working independently, with full support provided remotely by the wider team.
