Paralegal – Legal & Compliance
London
Full-time or Part-time
We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded London-based think tank that is looking to appoint a Paralegal with a strong compliance focus to join its team. This is a genuinely varied opportunity, combining core paralegal responsibilities with a significant focus on compliance, policy review and regulatory developments.
The Role
The successful Paralegal will provide day-to-day legal and compliance support across the organisation, with a particular focus on ensuring that policies, procedures and internal frameworks remain current and fit for purpose. Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, drafting and updating organisational policies and procedures.
- Monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory developments and assessing their implications.
- Conducting legal and regulatory research and providing clear, concise summaries.
- Supporting the development and implementation of compliance policies and processes.
- Providing general paralegal support, including legal research, drafting, document management and file administration.
- Supporting internal policy reviews and compliance audits.
- Working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure policies and procedures are appropriately implemented.
- Assisting with ad hoc legal, regulatory and governance projects.

About You
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Paralegal who is particularly interested in the intersection between law, compliance and policy. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a paralegal, legal, compliance or regulatory environment.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Experience reviewing or maintaining policies and procedures.
- A good understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to work independently and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
