Hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexible working applications considered) Hybrid working: 40-60% of your time in the office
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Private Client team. Working alongside trainees, associates and partners, you will support general Private Client work; Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Tax planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lasting Power of Attorney drafting
- Will and letter of wishes drafting
- Document management
- Preparation of attendance notes, documents and deeds
- Liaison with clients, external organisations and colleagues
- Research duties
- Work on Probate and Administration of Estates
- Preparation of bills
- General file administration and organisation
- Any other paralegal/legal assistant tasks as required by fee-earners
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience is desirable with a strong interest in Private Client
- Ability to produce written correspondence such as drafting letters and emails
- Ensures work is carried out to a high standard and presents information in a clear, logical and structured manner
- Experience of and an understanding of the importance of preparing bundles for hearings
- Experience in conducting legal research
