The Paralegal will be handling motoring offence cases, including preparing legal documents, compiling case bundles, and organizing evidence. Responsibilities include:

- Conducting legal and factual research
- Reviewing and summarizing documents
- Maintaining accurate case files
- Managing correspondence with clients, courts, and other third parties
- Drafting letters
- Taking detailed instructions
- Arranging appointments
- Assisting with trial preparation and hearing logistics
This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Liverpool or Manchester office, requiring regular collaboration with the teams in both offices and a professional approach to client service.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Law, particularly in criminal or road traffic matters.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting statements, letters, and case bundles.
- Strong Research skills for gathering case law, legislation, and factual information.
- Attention to detail in Document Review, including checking accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant qualification or training such as a law degree, LPC, CILEX, or paralegal certification is desirable.
- Experience in a legal practice, ideally in criminal or motoring offences, is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple cases, and competence with standard office and case management software.
