Are you looking to build a long-term career in law while gaining hands-on experience in residential lettings, possession claims and debt recovery work? We are looking for a proactive and driven Paralegal to join our Property Lettings & Revenue Team at our Chandlers Ford office, where you will be supported to develop your legal knowledge, client confidence and practical case experience.
About the Role
Our Property Lettings & Revenue Team specialises in advising landlords and agents on a range of legal issues related to residential lettings, including possession claims, statutory notices and debt recovery. This is a varied and fast-paced opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, build confidence with clients and play an active part in a specialist area of property law.
You will gain exposure to both the practical and advisory sides of the work, developing the skills needed to support matters from the early pre-court stage through to claim progression and client guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing documents and helping to prepare and serve statutory notices according to tenancy type.
- Advising landlords and agents on the most appropriate route to possession before matters reach court.
- Communicating clearly with landlords, agents and other stakeholders to resolve disputes and provide practical guidance.
- Supporting our solicitors as they conduct claims for possession through to eviction, if required.
- Contributing to the legal advice line once fully trained, delivering clear and accurate advice over the phone.
- Managing your workload and recording your time efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Working collaboratively within the Property Lettings & Revenue Team to deliver responsive, high-quality client service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
