Reports to: Supervising Solicitor

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

As we continue to expand, we are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Paralegals to support our fee earners and solicitors across all departments within our firm (Corporate/Employment/Litigation/Commercial Property) in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

ROLE PURPOSE

You will provide essential legal and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners, assisting with the preparation and management of legal matters. You will work across a range of tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while contributing to a professional and client-focused service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Legal & Case Support

  • Preparing and drafting legal and court documents
  • Conducting legal research to support ongoing matters
  • Reviewing files and case documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assisting with fee-earning tasks under supervision

Administrative & Office Duties

  • Word processing, filing, and general office administration
  • Managing telephone enquiries and client communications
  • Producing accounts slips and invoices
  • Accurate time recording in line with firm procedures

File & Matter Management

  • Supporting the day-to-day progression of files
  • Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and internal processes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent IT, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to follow instructions and work methodically
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Patience and tact, with the ability to work professionally with clients
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements
