Our client
Our client is a vibrant and fast-growing mid-sized law firm based in Hertfordshire, known for its modern approach and supportive team culture.
Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with previous property/conveyancing experience who is looking for a varied role within an established and reputable firm.
Position details
This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position, offering on-site parking and an excellent holiday allowance.
Duties
- Opening files and completing KYC checks
- Dealing with source of funds and ordering searches
- Preparing and sending contracts on exchange
- Sending documents to third parties and liaising with relevant parties
- Receipting funds
- Drafting security documents
- Preparing and submitting SDLT returns
- Handling Land Registry registrations and expediting applications
- Dealing with Land Registry requisitions
- Completing Companies House registrations
- Serving notices of transfer and charge
- Dealing with redemptions, including DS1s and redemption figures
- Drafting and providing undertakings
- General file administration and providing day-to-day administrative support

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within conveyancing, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
