Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal/Support Lawyer to provide legal and transactional support across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers and business stakeholders, assisting with contract management, corporate governance activities, and transactional support. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and assist with the negotiation of routine legal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), engagement letters and consultancy agreements.
- Support the management of contract processes, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with internal procedures.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including coordinating board and committee meetings.
- Prepare and organise board packs, review meeting agendas, coordinate attendees and assist with minute-taking and follow-up actions.
- Maintain statutory records, corporate documentation and governance trackers.
- Provide legal and administrative support on corporate transactions and other business initiatives, coordinating documentation and managing key deliverables.
- Conduct legal research and due diligence exercises as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, consultants and other advisers to ensure matters progress efficiently.
- Monitor action points, deadlines and transaction workstreams, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Contribute to the development of templates, precedents and process improvements within the legal team.

Candidate requirements
- LPC, SQE, law degree or equivalent legal qualification (including foreign-qualified lawyers).
- At least two years' experience as a Paralegal or Support Lawyer within a law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong experience drafting and reviewing NDAs, engagement letters, consultancy agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Experience supporting corporate governance processes, including board meetings, agendas, minutes and corporate records management.
- Exposure to corporate transactions, due diligence and legal project coordination.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Proactive and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with lawyers and business stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and attend the office as required.
