Location: Maidenhead, Exeter

Basis Full-Time, Part-Time, Bank

Paramedic

We are seeking dedicated and skilled HCPC Registered Paramedics to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pre-hospital and emergency medical care to patients, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills, empathy, and a patient-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, as well as high-priority inter-hospital transfers.
  • Utilise professional judgment to assess patient needs and provide appropriate medical interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other services personnel to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports and handovers.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and maintain HCPC registration.
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines.
  • Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Paramedic.
  • Proven experience as a paramedic in a fast-paced emergency environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • An approved emergency response driving qualification.
