Paramedic Practitioner – GP Surgery | Leighton Buzzard
📍 Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire
💷 Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
⏰ Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Vela Medical Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Paramedic Practitioner to join an established GP surgery in Leighton Buzzard.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paramedic looking to develop or continue their career within General Practice / Primary Care, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
The Role Will Include:
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with a range of acute and minor illnesses
- Conducting face-to-face patient consultations
- Supporting the clinical team with same-day and urgent care demand
- Working autonomously within your professional scope of practice
- Referring and signposting patients to appropriate services where required
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and delivering high standards of patient care

What We're Looking For:
- Qualified and HCPC-registered Paramedic
- Experience working autonomously with patients
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Primary Care / General Practice experience would be highly advantageous
- Independent Prescribing qualification would be advantageous
