Role Overview
The post holder will work as a response practitioner and will be responsible when called to assess and deliver emergency medical care to our population within HMP Peterborough. The successful candidate will also be expected to attend non-urgent calls on the wing(s) to evaluate patients to determine their medical needs. You will be familiar with using onboard equipment to support delivering care, for example, to include defibrillation and resuscitation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the provision of delivery is practice-based research that brings high-quality care to patients in HMP Peterborough in accordance with local and national policies.
- Undertake various duties, including screening patients in reception and on the wings, triaging patients, and holding secondary screening clinics.
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, and manage court returns and releases.

Requirements
- Must have continuously resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years prior to this application and be able to evidence your years of residency.
- Must be subject to security vetting.
