City of London | £37,000 + 10% Discretionary Bonus | Hybrid Working

We are working with a growing financial advice business that is looking to hire a second Paraplanner to join its expanding team in the London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who wants more than simply producing reports. You will join a supportive, ambitious team with a clear progression route into senior paraplanning and, potentially, becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

The opportunity

The business currently consists of four Financial Advisers, one Paraplanner and an Operations Manager, with plans to grow to eight Advisers and four support professionals. You will work closely with the existing Paraplanner, Operations Manager and Advisers, helping to deliver high-quality financial planning and ongoing service to clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing suitability reports and financial planning documentation
  • Conducting product, fund and provider research
  • Producing cashflow and financial planning analysis
  • Supporting Advisers with new business and ongoing client reviews
  • Ensuring cases meet internal compliance and quality standards
  • Liaising with Advisers, administrators, providers and clients
  • Helping improve paraplanning processes as the team grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
