About The Role

We’re working with a highly regarded, independent financial planning firm looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical Paraplanner who enjoys producing high-quality suitability reports, conducting research and working closely with Financial Advisers to deliver outstanding client outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection.
  • Conduct technical research and product comparisons.
  • Carry out cashflow modelling and retirement planning analysis.
  • Research funds, platforms, and providers.
  • Support Financial Advisers with complex client cases and recommendations.
  • Liaise with providers, advisers, and administrators throughout the advice process.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and company compliance standards.
  • Keep up to date with legislation and industry developments.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years’ paraplanning experience.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or actively working towards completion.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax planning, and protection.
  • Experience writing suitability reports.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience using industry systems such as Intelligent Office, Xplan, FE Analytics, Dynamic Planner, Voyant, or CashCalc would be advantageous.
